Gets a value indicating whether the specified role name already exists in the role data source for the configured applicationName. Does this role exist in teh current database?

Parameters

roleName: The name of the role to search for in the data source.Name of the role to search for in the database

Return Value

true if the role name already exists in the data source for the configured applicationName; otherwise, false.

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
