The vdc6 file is created by Data Builder when you open a database. This file can be considered a temp or optional file, you do not need to backup or transfer this file with your database to end users.

What is stored in the vdc6 file?

Some of the things stored in the vdc6 file are your query history, actions taken by the user, errors encountered, etc.

You may also turn off generation of this file in the Data Builder Options.
